I took a Golden Mix route in the end of July 2024 with them. Really liked the itinerary as if offers the best dive spots of 2 routes: Daedalus, Zabargad, el Khaharim, Malahi and Claudio were the most colorful and fascinating spots, really unforgettable experience. JP Marine is a spacious boat that can fit 28 divers and offers great value for money. The salon has plenty of AC sockets, is well conditioned and has a bar part. The bar has ice machine! (first time I see it on LOB), coffee machine and water heater. Divers can bring over their own drinks if they want, although the crew also sells local beer, wine etc. The cabins are standard for LOB, though it was quite interesting that AC could be adjusted only in two cabins on both sides of the upper deck simultaneously (i.e. one should have agreed with the other cabin to make it colder or warmer). JP Marine tests satellite Internet, and we had Wi-Fi throughout the whole period apart from 1 day. They haven't advertised it yet, but it's available. This is quite rare on LOBs, and this boat is among few who offers it in the Red Sea. The dishes were delicious and the cook offered us a good variety. We had fish, shrimps, calamari twice a week, cake and turkey for the farewell dinner, meat and chicken on daily basis. We were also offered tasty smoothies on daily basis after the dives. Ibrahim is very experienced salon manager, speaks good English and Italian and creates great atmosphere in the dining room/salon. The crew was really helpful and friendly. They helped with putting our wetsuits on, carrying equipment, pretty much everything. Zodiac always arrived on time, we never waited on the surface. The seaman helped those who had troubles to get aboard Zodiac. Mechanic Ahmed always did a great job, was super fast and made sure our tanks were filled 230/250, and Nitrox level corresponded to the dive goals. Dive guides Serg and Michael are experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We even ran the evacuation and emergency drills with them. The briefings were informative and helpful. They also provided feedback when needed. Serg stressed the importance of deploying SMB for every ascent and reminded divers how to do that which is very helpful for those who are mostly doing shore dives. They take safety very seriously which contributes to general diving experience. Rental equipment is in top shape and serviced regularly. I would also like to thank Sophia who was responsible for organizational issues. As soon as I left a message on their website she contacted me, and we scheduled a WhatsApp call to clarify all questions. She also managed to find a wing BCD for me to rent, even though the LOBs usually offer only vests. Sophia kept in touch and send me several useful reminders. It was incredible experience and I would recommend to book this LOB. I will definitely book them again next year.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Currently, the choice of safari companies is not great. And according to the experience of repeatedly attending such events on different seas, Chocolate (both in Egypt and the Maldives) occupies a leading place. There is also assistance in arranging a trip, buying tickets, and insurance. Always punctual, clear and fast. Although the routes to the sea are standard, there is some novelty every time.
